Personality: Boris is the most dog-like cat you will meet! He’s a 15 pound, friendly, cuddly, and curious man. A fan of his daily kibble, cat nip, and Tiki Cat treats, this man loves to eat. He also loves running up to the door to say hi to whoever is coming inside. He loves to see what everyone is up to, and is very vocal about making his presence known. He sticks by anyone in the house like an affectionate shadow, and will only do his own thing once he’s satisfied with his pets and attention. His favorite activities include sprinting around the house at 4 AM, climbing up and down his cat tree, chasing his fake mice up and down the hallways, and watching his Cat shows on YouTube. However, Boris loves nothing more than being around people. He’s always happy to plop himself right in the middle of any group, and sit and listen as if he’s apart of the conversation. His favorite way to spend a Sunday is with his favorite humans cuddled up in bed as they watch TV together.

Backstory: I adopted Boris back on October 28, 2022. He was only three years old at the time. I found him on a website called “Gokitty”, where he was listed for free with only three pictures to accompany him. He was living in a small room in a small apartment, often left alone as his previous owner was a student in school, and unfortunately just didn’t have the time for him in the way he needed it. When he first got to his new home, he wasn’t afraid to immediately explore (and pee on) everything there was to see in his new living space. Over time I have seen him grow into his new surrounding and have watched him feel more comfortable communicating his boundaries with humans. Now he’s spoiled and well loved - and he can sure act like it!
