Personality: El is a happy go lucky cat who loves pets, and playing with her cat friends and lounging around. She can be a bit skittish at first but as time goes on she will come up to you on her own if she feels like it. She often looks forward to when her humans come home to relax for the night and is often waiting near the door when we come home. When it’s time to wind down that is prime opportunity for her to come up and headbutt you until she gets your attention, while she is often rolling and around looking silly and making cute noises to get your attention. El has been known to be a diva in the family as when things don’t go her way, or if she is feeling anxious she will tend to walk around the house being vocal to ensure you know.

Backstory: El is the little sister of Izzy and has always been a bit smaller as she was the runt of pack. We initially found El and Izzy from a Facebook post that was shared around Cape Ann. El was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to a very unfortunate family who was selling cats in order to make ends meet. Like Izzy , they were both found in a dirty apartment hiding under a microwave rack with a pit Bull running around growling at them. We initially went there looking at one but when we walked in we knew we were not leaving without the other one.
